PCC News - May 2009

The PCC met on May 13th, when the following matters were discussed:-

Reordering - Itemised account had been received from builders and this would be checked before payment

Finance - Regular giving covering parish share at present, but additional fund raising required to enable outstanding bills to be paid for extra work undertaken during church renovations e.g. securing of foundations, work found necessary on removal of floorboards, etc. Any ideas welcomed

Youth Worker - Funding secured and position advertised. Interviews to take place early June

Worship & Spirituality Group - Meeting to be arranged

Mission & Outreach Group - Welcome cards prepared for use. Ford Festival - hoping to take part with rota for manning stall

Pastoral & Social Group - No meeting - ongoing events planned

Building & Finance Group - Lettings policy under consideration for Hall and Centre

New Parish Boundaries - Changes to parish boundaries confirmed and it was hoped to include a welcome leaflet drop to coincide with Summer Gala leaflets

Mothers' Union banner - Resited in church
