PCC News - December 2007

The PCC met on 12th December when the following matters were discussed:-

Carol Festival - A disappointing turn-out for this event, both from congregation and parish. Further thought to be given to Festival 2008, regarding both object and theme.

Reordering - No further update.

Youth Worker - Further information should be available in February.

Finance - Up to date balance sheets circulated. Capital investment to be renewed pending outcome of reordering application.

Social & Pastoral Management Group - No meeting since last PCC.

Worship & Spirituality Management Group - No meeting since last PCC.

Buildings & Finance Management Group - No meeting since last PCC.

Mission & Outreach Management Group - No meeting since last PCC.

AOB - Alarm system updated.

Refurbishment of George Eliot plaque - awaiting reply from George Eliot Society.

Key List - being completed by all key holders.

Churchyard - the tree overhanging the bus stop would be pruned in an attempt to prevent further nuisance.

Parish Centre Fees - these to be increased - no increase had taken place since closure of the Parish Hall.
